This B&B was really clean - I can't stress this enough, I was actually surprised how nice they managed to keep the entire house. The staff were both incredibly helpful and friendly, learning guests by name, talking to them, and suggesting activities or ways to save money while traveling. The breakfast every day was wonderful - both filling and delicious. I stayed there for a week on this trip, and will certainly do so again the next time I am in Belfast.
所有评语 » Location was a close walk to downtown. Staff was very friendly (always called me a cab as I didn't have a phone), helped me print train tickets and answered all my questions. Bathrooms were quite clean. Only thing that maybe was a downer was the wifi in my room wasn't great, but it was great eveyrwhere else so it didn't make a difference to me really. Windermere House is in a great, quiet location. Hilary was very welcoming, friendly and understanding as I had to leave quite early the morning I checked out. My room was comfortable and warm, I was advised the wifi might not work but I had no problems with it myself. Bathrooms were close to the room and clean. The location was quite good (Queens Quarter of Belfast). It is an easy walk into the City centre, and plenty of restaurants around. The host was excellent and friendly. Very helpful with information, and booking tours. We enjoyed our stay. Some nice restaurants in the area. For the price it is a good deal. Conveniently close to the bus heading downtown. Excellent staff very helpful and professional -- very helpful suggestions. Lovely staff. Good location, with lots of restaurants and take-away shops within a two minute walk. Other facilities also near by. Staff were friendly and helpful. Onsight and street parking available. Hilary was lovely and take care of all: breckfast, tour etc etc. Room very quiet and clean, also the bathroom, shared but clean. Near the B&B there's a nice pub. Special mention for Hilary's kindness. - Fabulous hosts. - Hearty breakfasts. - Outstanding value for the money. - Good location (30 minutes on foot from the center or bus line #9 and close to Queens University area). Quiet neighborhood. Staff & owner very friendly & helpful. Cooked breakfast was great. Location good for restaurants & within walking distance of Ulster museum &Lyric Theatre. Lovely old style house. Comfortable and spacious room for only £38 close to the city centre. Bargain. Great breakfast and friendly staff too. There was no problem with me arriving late in the evening either. Very close to bars, restaurants and city centre, could walk anywhere, right beside Queens University. Quiet location with easy walking access to Queen's University and pleasant walk to downtown Belfast. Great staff, location & price. Quiet room. Nothing, this was a wonderful accommodation. Only problem was a rather noisy guest in the room next to mine the second night who also got in the shower quite late but that's nobody's fault but his! Similarly, while I didn't mind it, most rooms are up 2 flights of stairs, and the B&B is about a mile out of town, so make sure you have plenty of energy if you're staying here!. Door handle (back) was a bit loose but no major issue, as was the soap holder in the shower. Overall No real complaints. Location. You will need a bus (nearby station) or a car to get to city center. No complaints. To reach center you have to take 15/20" by foot. Nothing. Nothing. Only 1 bathroom on the top floor, layout and type of doors meant doors opening and closing quite noisy. Wifi signal week. Nothing really. Initially we had a bit of trouble with transit to City Centre - nothing the B&B could do anything about though?. Nothing. Bit like intruding on somebody else's home. did not get the 8am wake up call as requested. Small room, and no off-street parking. If you stay outside Belfast, and put up with the travelling inconvenience, then you can find less cramped and better equipped places. not en-suite. The wallpaper came off at different parts in our room- but the bathroom was newly and beautifully redone!. Nothing. A little noise from other guests. Confusion over payment as paid by credit card then asked for cash...Appantly no credit card facility there. Tight parking. Shared bathroom facilities, but thats not something to complain about as its the reason for the price and they are very clean and nice. Bathroom too small! At least in the room I stayed. - Small problem with Wi-Fi signal. Stronger router could help :). The high steps to get to the top. Everything was great. Building was very old and needs renovation. Nothing. Nothing!. had to pay at the end of the stay with cash - wouldn't take card payment. breakfast - need more fruit and variety. Nothing. Wi fi difficult to reach in upper rooms Very thin walls - snoring next door!. The showers, although functional they were not brilliant. Still I managed to stay clean which was the main thing!. noise at night.
