We liked everything. Felt totally at home, so much so that we sat on the lounge floor in front of the 'real' fire each evening with the news papers and a drink. How relaxing is that? The people running the hotel were so friendly and helpful. We would recommend it to everyone. The pool needs a special mentiion too, my family think we should get one

The landlady is an excellent cook, the menu is limited but just try the minestrone and the penne: superb ! And not expensive at all. For extensive reviews: see tripadvisor.com !!!

Very friendly staff and one of the best restaurants we've used for a long time - Nice sized rooms, very well decorated, beautiful views, friendly staff, fantastic food, good value for money. have been more attentive and professional - little touches helped like
giving my son a kiddie's pack on arrival and a voucher for room
service milk and cookies. Breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice and
again great service and staff were really knowledgeable about the area.

The hotel is located City centre with safe parking on site. The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to ensure we were well informed about Bristol to maximise our stay at the Hotel. Excellent location, large parking just outside of main entrance, well designed reception and huge rooms that could probably fit one more double bed in it. The staff where all very freindly and nothing was so much trouble. We will definatley be going back, we only stayed for one night but will stay for longer next time.
The room was very clean and comfortable and the restaurant was good value for money.
