  Rachel had sent directions and so we had no problem locating the B&B. We had a suite, with the biggest bed that I have ever slept in. It was lovely to also have a large and comfortable seating area so we could relax in the evening. Rachel suggested a local pub for dinner, and we enjoyed a fabulous meal there. After missing a flight from Bristol, we quickly booked this online and arrived 10 mins later, we were so pleased with our room that we forgot about missing our holiday!! The 2 cold beers on arrival really helped to calm the nerves after an otherwise pretty stressful day... Would definitely recommend :)

  This is our fourth stay at the Mercure Holland House, Bristol. We have always received the best of attention from the staff who are very pleasant to a one.   Stayed 18-20th July 2013 room 210. Had a great stay here. Arrived a bit early at 12.30 but there was a room ready so we could check in. The parking is right next door in the NCP multistorey carpark. Unfortunately the carpark lifts are out of action but that's NCP's fault. My husband and I stayed with our granddaughters aged 3 and 7) We walked through the door to be greeted with mince pies and mulled wine and a friendly and festive welcome to us and our grandchildren. The member of staff who checked us in understood our needs (my husband is disabled) and those of our grandchildren and put herself out to ensure these needs were met. The hotel was busy but we felt we were treated as if we were the only guests. We expect Mariott's to be comfortable and clean,
