Nobel Hostel is in a choice location, near the Blue Mosque, in a quite area of tourist accommodations and restaurants. Our double was clean and bright (glass door to an unusable patio), though showing wear; the mattress too, was in need of replacement (springs collapsing). The room included a television and bath. Splatted red paint on the bath door and floor could be mistaken for blood - I licked it, it’s not. The steps to our room were tight and steep, fortunately, we only needed to go up .
所有评语 » Hi all!! I spent two weeks in Nobel Hostel with my friend! And now it’s like a Home in Istanbul for us. We're so lucky that we found this place. Location best of that could be. You do not even have to go out, you can just sit and enjoy the amazing views of the Blue Mosque, Sea of Marmora, and sounds of birds… This place is wonderful!! Every morning we had breakfasts on the terrace, very good breakfast)) Rooms are clean and cozy. And most important these are people!! People, who work in this pla. I would like to thank Mustafa and the other receptionist,the hostel is clean and comfortable. The are is very nice and near all the places that you could visit in Istanbul. It is near tramway and most of the shopping centers, the bazar and restaurant. What I like more is the goud customer service of the receptionists. They are there to help, give informations and make your stay confortabl. The Terace is so good with the marmara view and the blue mosque. I really enjoy my stay there, and I am pl. Would definitely recommend this hostel for a citytrip to Istanbul! Location is perfect (view on the Blue Mosque from the upper rooms, easy to reach by metro and tram from the airport and surrounded by nice little restaurants and shops), breakfast is tasty and staff was really friendly and funny. Travelled as a single woman and felt really safe in both the hostel and the area. This hostel is very close to the historical places of Istanbul. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast is wonderful. It was my first time to taste Turkish breakfast and I liked it throughout my stay in Turkey in general. I also like the fact that the staff offer suggestions on how to go from one site to another. I will definitely go back. I really liked people working in Nobel hostel. Really nice & helpful. Food was excellent. Guests have 10% discount. The terrace is just wow! You can see sea on one side & Blue Mosque on the other side, when having breakfast. Breakfast is included in price. And the most valuable thing about hostel is its location! Great, great, great!. - Location was excelent for a short "compressed" stay - it is 2 minutes walk from Sultanahmed square, with the main historical sights - the staff was friendly and willing to help - the hotel is nice and cosy - breakfast was very ok and they haven't charged us extra for the 5 year old kid - relatively quite area. The hotel accidentally lost our reservation, but the manager, Mustafa, went out of his way to find us suitable accommodation around the corner from his establishment. Mustafa was also available to us any time we needed tourist information. We really enjoyed the hospitality. Loved the location! Lively street with great restaurants, a small but highly visit-able market called Arasta Bazar just up the street; quiet back streets with lots of character.. The View! Blue Mosque to the left and the Sea of Marmara to the right.. Friendly and helpful staff. If I have to explain the staff with one word, it is hospitable. Clean rooms. Perfect location. Nice view from the top terrace. Everything a tourist wants. I would definately use this hostel for my next visit to Istanbul. -Great Staff, Great Manager .. They all were very friendly and answered all the questions we had before and during the stay. - Comfortable and clean beds, they also provided towels. - Good Breakfast - Great location and view. The staff is nice and helpful with good English level. The view of the top floor is amazing. The bed is comfortable. The location of the hostel is great which is very near to the site seeing places. Smiling, intelligent and friendly staff at the entrance; great, sharing and peaceful friend in the rooms, breat-taking İstanbul wievs on the terrace. Almost everything you need from a Hostel... Good location near Aya Sofiya and food street in the middle of old town and Sultanakhmet. Friendly staff and very good price. Good open terrace on rooftop with nice view to Blue Mosque and bay. Great breakfast. Great view from room 401!!. The location is perfect, which is just behind the Blue Mosque. There is a small but nice roof terrace which can see both the Mosque and the beach. The staff is friendly and helpful. We have made a very nice trip in Istanbul. The view on the rooftop is great! The staffs are friendly and helpful, letting us take a shower although we have check out. The AC and WiFi work really well the top floor. Clean rooms, excellent location. Rooms were simple and cozy. Breakfast area is at the rooftop Terrance and it has excellent view of the sea. Great location, very close to the main sight seeings, very good price. Everything was excellent!!!. Maybe some nice decorations in the rooms and bathrooms to give it more a 'hostel feeling' (photo's, posters, etc.) But on the other hand: the (bath)rooms were clean and the beds convenient. Nothing. Everything was great. Even though it is only hostel, not hotel, it is great value for money. - For a long stay, I would choose a less expensive (less touristy) area. Everything was prfect. - Dangerous stairways. We have to climb up narrow stairs with heavy luggage. Little mismatches with preparing the room. It's in touristic part of city and you don't have so much places to hangout. That I couldn't stay longer. Couldn't get the airconditioning to work, but luckily it wasnt that hot. Nothing. It can be a bit complicated for older people with luggage because there is no lift and the stairs are very narrow. Facility is very basic. The bed can use some firmer mattress. Beer price. But hey, its Turkey.... The stairs were stiff and it was difficult for us to carry the luggage. I really Liked this place; no negatives. nothing. in my point of view ; i like Nobel House and it was good for me , and you can make group of friends around the world. Wi-Fi connection could have been stronger. Everything was oke!. sometimes the upper floor is too noisy. As the check in was at 11 a.m., some of the flights take you to Istambul very early in the morning and there is no facilities in the hotel to wait for the check in time.. so could be dissapointing. No. The steps are really narrow and steep, would be a problem for someone with a big luggage. The bathroom on the top floor is a bit small. The dorm room only has outlet on one side of the room. Staff who were working in the restaurant beside the hostel were also the receptionists. They were not very friendly and kept asking me for payment before I checked out. Not much facilities offered - just 1 desktop in the lobby. The room was very tiny, not so clean and the breakfast was basic. The hostel needs renovation. No water provided.
