  The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We loved that The Countryside was a walk from the busy town, and super quiet amidst the rice paddies and mountains. We were able to hike out of the hostel and to a waterfall (6 hours round trip). So close to nature!   The whole experience in Family House @ Pai was fantastic! Tidy, neat and comfortable environment, convenient location to the main street, friendly owners and staff, wonderful breakfast (both western and thai). We only stayed there for two nights and it would be great if we can stay longer in Pai and - We were afraid to book this hotel, because it was way cheaper than the hotels we were booking in other cities during this trip.
