  Loved the beachfront villa. The beach was always so quiet and views were fantastic. Very cheap to rent a moped for the day and got to experience so much more of Koh Lanta.   The hosts (Mr Pong and his wife) were very friendly, helpful and service oriented (they live directly near the resort).   The staff was super friendly. Not all of them spoke a lot of English, but it was always enough to get things done. The resort is ran by Muslims, so you cannot buy any beer or cocktails, but the shakes and virgin cocktails they offer are great. The food is amazing - try the butter chicken curry - it was one of the best curries I've ever had. Our little bungalow was spotlessly clean and very comfortable.   We stayed 2 times during our travelling in Thailand on KoLanta at Baan Por Jai. The rooms are very very clean, but basic and good travel-destination. The town Baan Saladan is about 5 Minutes with TukTuk or Motobike. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The costs are really fair. - Very nice looking guesthouse with good standard and clean rooms. Big plus for the cozy little garden. Good location only a few minutes walk to the beach. You have several restaurants around the corner. A walk to Saladan takes about 15-20 minutes. Very friendly staff, even if they did not speak the best English.
