  Absolutely fabulous hotel! The setting is on a river rather than directly on the beach, this is reached by taking a kayak or being ferried on the hotel boat. The rooms are light, modern and spacious and the plunge pools was a god-send on a hot day.   We had a great time at the Orchid. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The Ordchid is located at Bailan Bay - a very small village along the main road. It is a very quiet area with a couple of stores and restaurants. If you are planning to rent motorbikes - it is easy to get around, we didn't though because of the steep roads. I just wouldn't prefer - The staff is excellent ,helpfull,very well educated ,nothing is too much for them , you feel welcome and part of their family . Rooms are in every price-range nice and cosy , the restaurant menu is very variable and excellent quality ! Defenatly recomandable !! Special thanks to pieter and mister bond !!!!
