I looked through about 100 Chang's hotels on letsbookhotel.com and there wasn't a moment I regretted about my choise. Cleaning was good and high standard resort in general. Good and clean swimming pool. Good breakfast. Owner readily available and nice to deal with. He was really helpful by letting us stay a couple of hours beyond normal check out time. Location is good near some beautiful beaches.

  The resort is a little diffrent in a good way. It's bacically partly in the jungle (with monkeys) and partly buy the sea. The bungalows and rooms are big and spacious. Nicely decorated.   It was truly a budget-friendly place. The comfort was not the best of 5 stars resort hotel but it was just enough for us and exactly what we expected after reading some reviews. We stayed at a very basic bungalow with a fan and a mosquito net and these two were essential to survive steamy-hot nights. A guy at Bangkok Airport wanted to charge us ฿570 each way.
