  The views out of our window were great. The simplicity of the room were fantastic. The breakfast was perfect. The dinner is an excellent value for the area. If you don't get the dinner you will likely pay well over 100 francs for a family of four! The mountains are a wonderful place to hike. The trails are clearly marked with distances. The hist... 别人怎么说 » ory and the preserved buildings in the town are very interesting. - The hostel is a bit out of the center of Zermatt, although this isn't a huge problem since the town is pretty small. Only four beds in the room I was staying in, which was nice, and lockers for backpacks that operate with a 2CHF deposit. Beds were reasonably comfortable and each has its own reading light.

  This hostel is probably the most organized and clean ever. It looks like everything has a place and that any detail you may think has been addressed in a very practical way. Supermarket is just besides so it is extremely easy to cook you own staff. The location is superb if you are hiking around in summer time. I choose this as a base point for my... 别人怎么说 » hike. The day after I went trough the Pass D'encel untill reaching the CAS Sausanfe in a very reasonable time. The hostel staff was also very helpful - The staff was wonderful and the location can't be beat. If you planning to Ski, the lift is right next door to the Backpacker Le Petit Baroudeur. I absolutely recommend this place and will gladly stay again if I am in the area!!!!

  Excellent hostel only an 8 minute lift ride from Verbier - all the benefits of skiing but without the Verbier prices! After a long days skiing I was pleased with the hot showers and comfortable beds. Would visit again :)
