  The staff was extremely helpful, informed and able to respond in several languages. The food was absolutely great and the bed comfortable. I have stayed in 5 star hotels that were not as enjoyable as the Hotel Schloss Ragaz. - Kindness and efficiency of staff and management.

The staff everybody from top to bottom were excetionally friendly, helpful and professional.   When I'm visiting st Gallen I always try to stay in Einstein. It's definitely the best hotel in town in terms of location, quality and services. A bit more pricey, but it is worth it. Free spa and gym, free high speed wifi - Upgrade to junior suite, although hotel was under renovation for regular rooms. Breakfast was superb!

  I have stayed at the Kronenhof on several occasions with my 8 year old daughter. The hotel is well located within a 5 minute walk to the train station, the staff are very friendly and helpful and there is an excellent selection of what to eat and the the choice between two styles of restaurant. We were lucky enough to have a room overlooking the castle view and although the room wasn't luxury, it was comfortable. There is a smart bar where you can watch people arriving for the concerts in the church next door and the location of the hotel is superb. We didn't eat there, but breakfast was okay.

  The friendly atmosphere in the hotel permeated all departments and we appreciated the excellent restaurant. The rooms on the back of the hotel are very quiet. The hotel is only ten kilometres from the golf club at Gams, up a wonderful road through the forest and into the hills. The local train station allowed easy access to Zurich if you didn't want to drive. Austria, Germany, and, Lichtenstein are close enough to drive especially the Bodensee and Rhein Falls areas.
