The location is excellent. Tucked in to the "old town" of
Sargans at the foot of a mountain. We hiked partway up the mountain one
evening and the view was gorgeous, and the local people we met friendly.
Sargans is a little "off the beaten track" for English
speaking travellers, which we don't mind. There is a historic church

procession of children going the their first communion complete with a

Warm welcome and English speaking host. Thomas was a very polite hotel manager and EXCELLENT chef. We would highly recommend eating in the restaurant, even the guests special rate meal was excellent.
