Although it is slightly away from the town centre, there's a free bus service (hourly) to/from the hotel which takes you there in a few minutes. Its pretty easy to get to the hotel downhill, uphill is when you want to use the bus;... 别人怎么说 » at least after a couple of days! We mostly walked to/from Grindelwald which takes about 5-10 minutes and gave us the opportunity to enjoy the nature. - I don't like the hotel near busy streets. So, I chose this place. The locaition is ideal. Not too far, not too close to the central area. The view from my room was amazing. You can get the northface of Eiger if you have a southfacing room. I think it is worth that much.
