  We stayed here 5 days in one of the family suites--a corner room with a large bed and two bunk beds. The views of Lake Maggiore and the lush vegetation were breathtaking from all vantage points. The staff was kind and helpful. We greatly appreciated the small fridge in the room, which allowed us to store drinks and sna - Stayed there 2nights and one day going south. We had a marvellous view from our room over the lake. It was a spacious family room with a balcony and a nice terrace. Great breakfast (included fresh fruit, yoghurt, muesli, different kinds of bread, etc. ) Small kids playground, and a tiny place down at the lake where you can swim. During the day we went to Ascona on the lake side where we rented a pedalo (waterfiets) with slide for an hour. Kids (6 and 8) thought they were in paradise!

  It was very spacious. Typical old European with large rooms and high ceilings. It had a large balcony with a view over the town and of the lake and hills.
