I would highly recommend Luarri. The location is very quiet and scenic and a nice escape from the bustle of the city, and the buses into town are quick (maybe 10 mins to Ondaretta Beach and 25 to Gizupkoa Square) and regular and go from outside the front door (a taxi is around €10 from the main taxi rank at the edge of the old town). The staff are really friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless. The windows have shutters so your room will be pitch black which makes it easy to sleep in late .
所有评语 » Luarri is a little gem located in a peaceful setting on the mountainside but only a couple of minutes by car away from Ondarretta beach. Conveniently, the local bus stops outside the hotel every half hour or so and drops off at the funicular railway and then on to the centre of San Sebastián. This is a charming, Basque-style, family-run hotel with modern, stylish bedrooms ( only 7, I think). Belen provided us with directions to the hotel and we found it easily. Free parking was a bonus. We . Fabulous accommodation. Family run, friendly, helpful and in a lovely spot with views. Bedroom was excellent, bathroom up to the minute and a balcony off the bedroom. Free parking. Good English spoken.! Breakfast was good and we enjoyed a meal at a very nice bar/restaurant about 800m past the accommodation. Thank you Luarri for a great stay. You are doing everything right. Would thoroughly recommend. Realy a true inside tip. Beautifull rooms with a good view from the balkony over the city/mountains. Very helpfull and friendly staff (owners). The situation at the mount igeldo ist good. Busstop directly in front of the hotel. Free parking! You can walk true a park down to the ondarreta beach in 15 mins. In the morning you can make a good run on the mountain to the village. Good location - funicular (old train down the hill) to the beaches & cafes. No need to drive your car. Nice to be on the mountain. Good breakfast. Friendly staff & host. All good except for lack of soundproofing & timber floors making it very noisy. Very friendly and forthcoming staff Newly renovated, bright and clean rooms Good location on top of a hill from where you can hike (you will need a car to easily get there tough). Best breakfasts, fabulous staff, cute balcony, small and intimate, felt like home for a few days. Everyone was very nice and attentive. The room was very clean and the bathroom was fabulous. Very nice and helpful team .good breakfast . clean rooms and calm atmosphire. Bad sleep experience. The establishment needs soundproofing. There is no soundproofing or no wall insulation, could hear noise (talking) from neighbouring rooms. While we stayed a girl left her shoes on(high heels on a timber floor, very noisy) when she arrived back to her room, 2 nights in a row very late (1.30/2.00am) for at least an hour. Could hear all through the rooms. Nothing particular. Even though the breakfast they offer is very cheap they should work on improving the quality of all the products they offer and the overall hygiene of the buffet. There were flies all over the food.
