I was travelling with 2 small dogs and it's not always easy to find pet-friendly hotels but they were so accommodating and helpful.   Loved the location and the staff were very friendly (I'd say the friendliest we had in two weeks in Spain). Room was clean and bed comfortable. Our interior room was very plain but also very quiet. Liked the signs around the Pension asking guests to be respectful of others and keep noise down.   We were travelling with our dogs and had a superb room overlooking the bay. The hotel is an old townhouse with loads of character. We had booked a space in their garage . . . We ate at the May Flower [a fish grill restaurant] overlooking the port - superb; there - Fabulous town, wonderful food, Hotel is built on a narrow ridge above the bay where you can watch the surfers from your room with a floor to ceiling glass wall. We chose the old style room with wooden shutters looking north with our own balcony and view of red tile roofs, the church bell tower and the ocean in the back ground. Just wonderful!!!! This is a superior hotel and staff; just sorry we were not staying much longer.

  Javier who was the point of contact and person in charge at Pension was one of the highlights of the entire trip to San Sebastian. He was very helpful telling us exactly where to go to get a round and had a great sense of humor. We had a great stay at Pension and have already recommended a number of friends to stay there! The staff did EVERYTHING possible to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The rooms were nice and big and cozy. Coffee from the machine in the lounge was great and convenient. The value was outstanding. We will stay here when in San Sebastian:)))))
