  We just returned from staying 3 nights at this hotel. We were impressed by how well it lived up to its reputation. The kids' favorite part was the pool and the mini-zoo, my favorite part was the good-quality beds, and my husband liked the restaurant. One special touch was that each apartment had its own drying rack, so we could hang our bathing suits and towels out to dry. The Patron and his team were all very friendly and eager to please, we felt very welcome and looked well looked after. A Guarda has the feel of old Spain, lots of friendly polite people, fresh local food and produce, and you feel welcome where ever you go.
