We enjoyed our stay a lot and would love to return again. They were many highlights, but mainly: - Excellent and very friendly hotel staff - Very nice hotel garden with cactuses and flowers - Great food at the hotel restaurant and very handy store with food - Absolutely awesome massage therapist - Very spacey, beautiful and clean villa - Easy walking distance to the beach and small shopping mall with many restaurants - A lot of attractions in the surrounding area (mini golf, bike rental, zoo p.
所有评语 » our villa standard was in a lovely quiet location, the size was excellent for 5 of us, a 3rd bed was put into 2nd bedroom. apt was very clean, maids do great job. irish and uk tv also brilliant to have. restaurant very handy, pizza was fantastic value for the kids, pool size also good, bit cold but then it is winter over there! we also liked proximity to airport, after long journey-perfect. we arrived late and v kind receptionist gave us complimentary milk,juice and water-nice touch. The staff were very friendly. The suerior 2 bedroom apartment which we had was beautiful, spacious and well worth the extra money. It was close to reception and restaurant but not too noisy. The food in the restaurant was very nice. Very close to the promenade and access to Puerto Del Carmel was very easy. Only a stones throw from the airport. We will definetly go back to Costa Sal soon. free upgrade on arrival, good location close to sea front and local commercial centre with wide choice of restaurants, my fav was La Brisa with great English breakfast for 2.95 euro and fillet stake dinner for circa 12 euro. Accommodation good sized and very clean. Pools good. bus stop right outside hotel and fare to airport (bus every hour) just a couple of euros. Accommodation was immaculately clean & we had a fully equipped kitchen. Our room was fitted with blackout curtains plus shutters - ideal for restful lie-ins! The meals in the restaurant were of high standard yet very reasonably priced. Staff very friendly. Located 5 mins from airport which was very convenient for our early morning departure. Costa Sal is a very clean well maintained complex close to all amenities but a nice distance away from the center of Puerto del Carmen. The complex contains apartments and bungalows and caters for all age groups. The complex although fully booked was very quiet when we were there . I highly recommend Costa Sal and will definitely return myself. I liked everything about the place I could not speak too highly about it the food was good-- sea water pool- bus stop outside complex and the most important thing of all was that we got a ground floor apartment beside the pool, and not forgetting all the staff who were brilliant ,will probably be back next year. Just one word : Perfect ! Had an issue with the shower and within an hour it was repaired. House cleaning every day, very cleaned environment, PH of the swiming pool controlled every day, etc. Even the restaurant is very good ! This place is just perfect in everything (location, staff, appartment, etc). This was our second year in a row staying at the Costa Sal. Our room was in great condition, cleaned regularly, towels changed frequently, cleaned frequently, great pools. Costa Sal is situated a short distance from the airport and Puerto del Carmen in the nice area of Matagorda. Well it was near the beach "even doe we only got one day of sun" so unhappy......but everyone was so nice and helpful so we thought we'd treat ourselfs to the supreme suite cos the weather was so bad.......... and the room was beautiful...........would defo stay there again!!. We liked the atmosphere, the quietnes, childfriendly, and very good sevice while chosing the best appartment for our needs with small children; we got exactly what we asked for. we also enjoyed having a privet terrasse with sun all day. We are very satisfied with our stay. Lovely complex. Very clean,safe. Helpful and friendly staff. Good atomosphere. Good food available. Good breakfast. Appartement very spacious. Kitchen had every thing one would want in order to prepare and cook a meal. Comfortable beds and furniture.Overall very relaxing. Very good location. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food and drink reasonably priced. Television in each apartment with all home channels UTV, BBC, RTE etc. Tea-cloth, dishcloth and washing-up liquid in the apartment. We will definitely be back. The Costa Sal Apartments were excellent all round. Very friendly, helpful staff. The place was ultra clean and tidy. Pools were excellent.food in the restaurant is excellent and excellent value for money. I have booked a return visit already. Friendliness of staff. Pools, playground, computers, tennis...etc. will definitely stay there again and I wound highly recommend it. Everything about Costa Sal was great, the staff are excellent. Its a lovely location, reasonable price for drink (2 drinks 5e happy hour) & food was really really good. Two swimming pools & everything was great overall. Staff were excellent. Food and drink is good quality and reasonable. Pool and facilities are all very good. The area is quieter than others on the island (which we found a plus) but only a €5 taxi drive from main strip. We were given an ocean sight suite: very big, clean and comfortable. Hotel's restaurant was wonderful: fresh fish, tender meat, exquisites desserts! Waitresses were very friendly, during our stay We always ate there. The staff were especially helpful and friendly especially Niki who was the barperson. Also the reception were always attentive especially as I had got news from home that my Dad had passed away RIP. - Clean - good food in restaurant - nice atmosphere - the whole complex is well maintained - we would recommend Costa Sol to other travellers, but maybe if they will stay in different apartment. we were very happy with our stay , everything from very helpful staff to excellent location , could find no fault with anything , will have no problem staying their again , we loved our stay. We have stayed in the Costa Sal many times and have never had any complaints. Staff are extremely helpful and welcoming an we will certainly be returning there in the near future. Everything, this is the fifth time to stay at Costa Sal. This time we stayed in the studio at a very reasonable price so that we could stay for ten days for the price of seven. Friendly staff, Complex very clean both in apartments and pool areas, pleasant and helpful bar staff, food good. would recommend this hotel and intend to stay there again. Big flat screen tv in room with lots of channels available including rte 1&2. The hotel was clean and tidy not far from the airport and very nice surroundings/grounds. Service was outstanding, food was amazing, even though the staff meet masses of people they still made u feel special. Staff were extremely friendly we were made to feel welcome on arrival we felt relaxed from day one.Food is very good. We selected superior apt and they are like home from home. Very comfortable, modern, well equ8ipped and private. Lovely helpful staff. Spotless clean, and great location. nice complex and very good size studio apartment. Had superior 2 bed apt. Spacious, quiet, great comfort, big balcony overlooking sea, contents/equipment a1,. Apartments were lovely and clean and you could always get a sunbed at the pool at any time of day. - Not properly working WIFI - despite having the signal in the villa, we were not able to get to login screen (despite of using standard iPad/iPhone/Android devices) - it did work for us only at the reception. - The only minus on the comfort part for us were quite a hard beds in the villa. we badly needed a sweeping brush with 5 of us as we are a messy bunch! but i ididnt bother asking, im sure it wouldnt have been a problem. We would have liked to see a bit of entertainment for children - swimming pool games or entertaiment in the evening time. The main pool has salt water in it which we weren't aware of and our little boy became very ill after using it. All of the pools were very cold. We found it unusual having to pay for internet access in this day and age. We paid 18 euro and we ended up getting a refund because it didn't work in the apartment. nothing. Some may find the noise of aeroplanes overhead a little bit of a nuisance during daytime hours. However there were very few flights at night, resulting in great nights sleep!. I thought the entertainment was poor for such a high quality resort. Water in the pool is very cold, but once you're in and move it's ok. Also the cushion and matress in the bedroom are quite hard, but it's my personnal opinion. Finally the kitchenware is a bit tight to cook for five persons (mainly pans). The towel on sunbed policy was not implemented while we were there, but a notice was sent around just prior to us leaving. No sun.........but there's nothing anyone could do about that hahaha!!......everything eles was great!. we mised the possibiliy to sweep the floors ourselves since having small children kreeping on the floor. The wifi internet was not up to standards! It was often impossible to use the internet. Nothing. Would have liked a line change. I stayed for one week, so there was no linen change, The weather was very hot and it would have been nice to have fresh linen, at least once. Nothing. No bath in superior apartment. Didn't bother me too much but would've ban handy for our toddler. The wifi isnt working but as an engineer myself i spoke to the owner & then engineers currently fixing the issue. I can honestly say they are doing their best & it will be fixed shortly. Would have liked if they could do something with the single beds being pushed together as didnt find it nice but overall happy. I couldn't really fault it for the price we paid. It is very family orientated but for couples there is plenty to do in the surrounding area to keep you entertained. Wifi didn't work in The room but in common areas only. - Uncomfortable bed - leaky windows, when it rained the water broke through into our bedroom - when people passed through the gate outside our apartment (room 201, view from bedrom) automatically closing the doors of the gate caused a loud noise, we could not sleep - menu for breakfest could sometimes be changed. Nothing. WiFi - poor and can be frustrating. beds were uncomfortable. Some rain... Don't know whose fault that was!. Fairly close to airport runway so some airline noise but got used to it pretty quickly, some maintenance work was going on during our stay ahead of the high season - this was not a real problem but some of the pathways were blocked by old furniture when we arrived making it difficult to navigate with suitcases. help with luggage not readily available. People put out their towels by the pool before 8:00 and never came back. Internet in our room was bad but good at the restaurant and by the pool. The beds are a little dated. Lots of steps, wouldn't be very convenient for anyone elderly or disabled. Going home :(. Wifi slow and expensive Safes in room expensive to rent. the amount of steps,bungalows too far from reception especially for elderly people who should be forewarned they have to haul their luggage there and back, also not gone on the cockroches and ants. Nothing. the mattress on the beds were very uncomfortable. Air con was turned off on 1st October even though it was 30+ degrees and this made the heat in the apartment difficult to bear Would like longer hours in supermarket and no closure mid day. Lots of steps to navigate between upper and lower pool areas. in error i booked a studio apt Should have booked a 1 bedroom apt as advised by your reception staff. not one thing. Refurbed room was gr8 other rooms need refurbish they r quite dated. Not enough sun loungers there are mostly very uncomfortable ones but you have to hire cushions to lie in I think this should be addressed.There were people putting towels on beds and not even using them most of the day also more umbrellas around the pool would be good there wasn't enough and it got very hot..Mattress and pillows were very hard however I'm sure if we'd mentioned it to reception they would have been replaced. We didn't chose to have meals at complex as we like to go to local restaurants. However, other family members who paid prior to going for breakfast found they were very limited to selection and would have got better value had they paid on the spot. Apartment s2 was a bit run down, bath was very rusty. First 4 days from 9th May very high temps - 30s. Could have done with air con or fan. Otherwise no complaints. wifi is terrible and the fact that they actually charge you to use it is worse! we went out at night to access the internet at local bars/restrants etc as its all teenage kids look for now and the hotel charges18 euros per week. Lovely hotel but this really put me off!.
