Our room was very clean and functional. It is close to the downtown. Also extremely convenient that La Isla Hostal is a couple of blocks from Estacio Nord (bus station) and Estacio de França (railway station). Friendly and helpful stuff. In my opinion, it is an ideal choice for budget-minded travelers.

  The hotel is in a quiet street so there's no problem getting to sleep at night or having a lie in in the morning. Only a 10 minute walk to the bars, clubs and restaurants of Barri Gotic and la Rambla and there's metro stop Arc de Triomf 2 minutes away so it's easy to go out, safe to walk home at night and in close proximity to a beautiful park and... 别人怎么说 » the beach. We took a superior room so we had a small outdoor conservatory that was simply luxurious and the high-tech shower for two was great. Impec - We were happily surprised. It is a low profile hotel. No grand entrance, but home like. The room was spacious, clean, newly styled, comfortable with a wonderful balcony view of the city. The hotel is about a block away from a beautiful archway and walkway, not covered on the bus tours. The neigherhood is safe and there is life going on up until 2:00 a.m., but it does not disturb the guests. We loved it. This hotel can accomodate those with who walk with a cane/walker.   The room was minimalistic (in the design sense) and very nice. It also was very clean. The location of the hotel was awesome: right next to the Arc of Triumph (of Barcelona) and a subway station, and a few blocks away of the most interesting places for shopping, going out at night and sightseeing (except for the Gaudí buildings: La Pedrera, La Sag... 别人怎么说 » rada Familia, etc., which aren't that near (not too far either)). - great location, very friendly staff, wonderful rooms well equipped...
