  Nearest Metro station 2 mins walk, Placa de C. 10 mins walk. Shop next door so dont need to worry about finding food (as this hostal doesn't provide breakfast). Staff were very friendly and helpful, street and neighbourhood really safe. Everything spotlessly clean. Cannot fault it. - freindly staff, clean and comfortable room

  Excellent stay at this amazing apartment! The location was just perfect, across the street from Park de Ciudadella (for the kids was a must, as they could run on the grass and burn energy:)).The Zoo is located inside this park!   The Hostal Gat Raval was a fantastic place from which to explore Barcelona. The location and indeed the street Joaqim Costa are excellent. On leaving the Hostal there is a buzz about, cafes, bars and restaurants are easy to find and have an air of cool without being pretentious. The hostal is very clean and welcoming.
