  Good enough for the prices. kitchen is ok (very clean and have everything you need). The breakfast is quite simple but still nice. Super friendly staff and it's a good place for making new friends (: . And finally, its position inside the city is very central, so you don't need to use metro every time you go out.   I loved this apartment. I would have no hesitation recommending it to other people visiting Madrid. The view is amazing, location is perfect, facilities are superb, WIFI is reliable and super fast!   The hotel is very centrally located on Calle Cava Baja, a street lined with good tapas restaurants and bars. It's easily accessible to the metro and attractions. The hotel itself is very modern and the downstairs restaurant and bar was always filled with people. The room was gorgeous and very comfortable. The staff was friendl - The location was ideal, just 2 minute walk from Plaza Mayor and the city centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although it is a 3 star hotel and very small it is not short of all the amenities you would expect in a 4/5 star hotel. The restaurant has an excellent atmosphere and good quality food. The breakfast the hotel offered is the best I've ever had (even compared to 5 star hotels). If you can afford to stay at any of the attic rooms, I strongly recommend it...wow!!!

  Wonderful view. Great location. Breakfast at the high class restaurant below the location is limited but usual for Spain. Nice staff and owner. Very different to commercial establishments in as much as it is a converted apartment and was very interesting for us, a mature couple. We were placed in a huge room at no extra cost. Very clean.   We spent just one night at the Hostal Macarena, when passing Madrid on our way back from holiday. It's a lovely place in the heart of Madrid (Plaza Mayor is just behind the corner!), surrounded by many bars, restaurants and little stores. The room is quite small, but well equipped and clean. Staff doesn't speak very good English, but is very nice.... 别人怎么说 » I'd recommend this place especially for young people - as it's situated in the very city centre, everybody's partying and so it's quite noisy till la - Location, location, location! Two steps from the plaza Mayor and many other attractions, located on a little street with animation. Staff is courteous and helpful. They kept our luggage all day so we could walk around freely untill we left to take the train. Room was clean, confortable and big enough. Very good quality for the price. I recommend this hotel wihtout any hesitation.
