  The location was perfect in Barri Gothic on a plaza next to the Santa Maria Del Pi church, with many restaurants, cafes, and shops seconds away from the front door. Esp. As all the travel guides say, you must get one of the rooms with a tiny balcony overlooking the square. Fabulous ever changing show to watch from the room, not noisy during normal sleeping hours. In the heart of the old city, yet tucked away. We walked everywhere. Helpful, friendly, efficient staff. Great hot water.

  Receptionist were so nice and helpful. Also it was safe at the hotel, since La Rambla is not so safe at night the hotel locked their doors. Also loved the central location.   We were delighted with this hotel. It was right in the heart of Las Rambles. As we arrived from a Cruise, we checked in at 10am and a room was assigned to us right away.   Value for money. It is a student house which works as the hotel over the summer, so as expected the room was basic, but it had everything I need like private kitchen and bathroom.
