  I needed an economical place to stay for a 15 hour layover in Barcelona. I also wanted to be fairly close to everthing so I could take one last look before leaving Spain. The Pension Francia room was perfect: spacious and clean with good amenities at an excellent price. I even had a nice balcony with a vew of the Cafe Xixi and the pretty passagew... 别人怎么说 » ay. The location is great as it is walking distance to Port Vell, Barceloneta Beach, Barcelona Cathedral. Barcelona Zoo, El Born, Bari Gotic, Musee P - I love this hotel, it's simpel and clean ! I think it's the 5th time that I stayed here, and I'm always very happy here. Not all of the personel speaks english - I think that's just also the charm, you're in Catalunya... not in England- but they are always very helpfull and friendly. Location is great, and the price quality is very good I think. Will definitly return ! Good internet connection.

  The hostel was very clean even though bathrooms are shared. Rooms were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helped us a lot. Next time I would like to stay more in the hostel. - The location is great and the double bed room was quite OK for the price we pay. The bathroom was comfortable. The building is quite old and a bit degraded but they arranged the hostel so that you don't get depressed. Don't expect to be at a Hilton, but if you want to save some money still being in one of the best part of the city this should be at the top side of your list.

  The location of the pension couldnt be more perfect. In 10-15 min walk, you'r at the beach and in 2 min, u're at La Rambla Street. The pension is located in a small alley so it is very quiet. The room was simple but clean. The air condition, which is a must in Barcelona in July, worked perfectly. We loved our stay - We stayed twice in a room with private bathroom and will be coming back for sure. The hotel is extremely nice: the design is simple, but very nice, in white and blue tones, the bed was extremely comfortable, rooms had a small balcony, the bathroom was clean and neat, the reception was friendly and helpful. It is 2 min walk from Las Ramblas and Columbus. All in all, you get much more than you are paying for. 10 out of 10.
