Location within walking minutes to bus station was very convenient. City was small enough and transportation rail i front of hotel made up for isolated location. The cleanliness was super! My toes didnt curl up in horror or trepidation while i was using the shower.
The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The facilities were very clean and fun and colorful. I stayed at the Pilpil twice and both times were great experiences. The hostel is located very near the bus station, the tram and taxi stands.

Despite 24 hour reception you could not sit in the common area from 00.00 - 07.00 I was sat there in the dark using wifi Not using kitchen facilities or even lights But was told I had to go outside or to my room where others were sleeping.
Smell of bedroom.
price too high being an hostel, I decided to stay one more night and I had to change room, price in 6 beds room and 12 beds room is the same.
One ladies toilet and one unisex for tens of girls is just not enough. I booked a bed in a 6-bed-room and I got a bed in a 10-bed-room.
