  I requested an upgrade to a deluxe room after reading some scary reviews. The deluxe room was very comfortable and modern.   Older hotel with a lot of charm if you prefer something with a bit of character. The hotel is pre ww2 but the rooms were clean, functional and comfortable. Staff were friendly. We stayed 2 nights then due to floods and cancelled flights had to rebook and stay one more night, staff were good and very accommodating.
