  This is one of those places you don't want everyone to find out about because it'll be fully booked when we want to go back! There are 3 supermarkets in walking distance - The facilities were exactly as described and more - our apartment was well-equipped and very spacious. For a group of friends visiting Tromso, this was the perfect lodging solution as we were able to save money cooking some of our meals. The staff at Viking Apartments were also very informative and always willing to help in any way possible. They even gave us free waffles before we left! It was an absolutely fantastic value for money, and I will definitely recommend Viking Apartments to my frie

  I liked the location which was very convenient and the rooms were quite comfortable. The breakfasts were quite substantial to set you up for the day.   Everything! The lady who checked us in after being in transit for 38 hours was nothing but helpful and greeted us warmly. However, walk to the coast is the best location. If you do not travel by Taxi or Car, there is Bus no. 34 at Sydspissen to Tromsø town. We stayed in an apartment on the first floor (no. 16 upstairs I think) which was perfectly suited to our needs.   The location is excellent, particularly if you are taking the Hurtigruten boat along the coast. The embarkation point is 50 metres away. The hotel is central, and the tourist office and airport bus stop are even closer.
