Didn't like that the desk receptionist had not waited to get the word from the cleaning lady that our room was done. The desk receptionist had given our hotel key to us, we went up to our room to find the cleaning lady still cleaning our room. We waited out in the hall for her to finish.
The price in the web was attractive but during the booking its totally changed from 1025 NOK to 1695 NOK. This is not fair and not right you must to stick to price you publish as attractive.

The location is really excellent, very very close to Brygge, Bryggens Museum, Rosenkrantz Tarn and Akon Hall. Just outside the hotel there is the bus stop for the shuttle service to the Airport (with frequent rides every day). Breakfast is good and with a wide choice of food. The rooms we booked - two standard rooms - were sufficiently spacious, definitely clean and comfortable, though not very bright.

The staff are very friendly & helpful. Room is very comfortable especially this room 430 is so bright & fresh. Very new. I think this is even better than 527 which we stayed for the 3days when first arrived.

The best part is its location, right behind Brygge's houses and a few meters from the Fortress. Nice breakfast too.
We had a problem with the key of our room when we arrived and it took almost an hour for them to solve it. Finally, we were upgraded for free to a larger room. The hotel is too big and it seems they have few employees for the whole thing (something we noticed all around Norway by the way).

The location is perfect, the rooms and breakfast are really good. The staff was friendly in general and when I requested an allergy free pillow they brought one to the room.
Some of the staff members could be a bit more welcoming but others were very friendly so it depends on the person.

Fantastic central location. Under hotel parking (although expensive NOK200 per night). Excellent breakfast. Busy hotel with package tours. Room typical of a modern chain. Had seating area and good facilities. Bergen expensive (it is a stop for cruise liners). Some good museums and a lively harbour area.

Being initially given a twin room when we wanted a queen bed. When we were moved another couple was given a key to the same room.

Location was perfect for accessing the harbor, city mountain parks, fish- market, old town. Breakfast was good but very crowded (large bus groups) so its best to go very early or very late. Plenty of accessible plug sockets. They had a hair dryer and an iron in the room. Ice machines easily accessible. Beds were comfortable. Guest services did bring us a room fan which helped enormously.
We rented three rooms, none had any view and two faced a wall. We got 2 changed to at least have very restricted view, but couldn't change the third. The bus arrivals made the front desk inaccessible to any of the regular guests. Front desk did not know and incorrectly informed us of how the parking worked. Cooling in room didn't work properly - we died with the heat - odd for Norway.
