Air conditioning was inadequate.
verry verry verry nice/ near the center /comfortable/ only good things!
location; updated design; breakfast
too hot in room in mid-Aug. Seems the bathroom floors are heated and much too hot in bathroom
Location and breakfast. Rooms good size and spotless
A bit overpriced
The location and it was nice and clean
The location is really excellent, very very close to Brygge, Bryggens Museum, Rosenkrantz Tarn and Akon Hall. Just outside the hotel there is the bus stop for the shuttle service to the Airport (with frequent rides every day). Breakfast is good and with a wide choice of food. The rooms we booked - two standard rooms - were sufficiently spacious, definitely clean and comfortable, though not very bright.
Nothing in particular
Breakfast not as good as other Radisson blus in Norway.
The staff are very friendly & helpful. Room is very comfortable especially this room 430 is so bright & fresh.
Very new. I think this is even better than 527 which we stayed for the 3days when first arrived.
I can't find any.
The best part is its location, right behind Brygge's houses and a few meters from the Fortress. Nice breakfast too.
We had a problem with the key of our room when we arrived and it took almost an hour for them to solve it. Finally, we were upgraded for free to a larger room. The hotel is too big and it seems they have few employees for the whole thing (something we noticed all around Norway by the way).
Excellent location--close to the harbor. Great breakfast. Room small but nice and clean. Helpful staff.
Bergen is expensive!
The location is perfect, the rooms and breakfast are really good. The staff was friendly in general and when I requested an allergy free pillow they brought one to the room.
Some of the staff members could be a bit more welcoming but others were very friendly so it depends on the person.
location, location, location
and a very good breakfast
the standart rooms are very small
very long coridors
Fantastic central location. Under hotel parking (although expensive NOK200 per night). Excellent breakfast. Busy hotel with package tours. Room typical of a modern chain. Had seating area and good facilities. Bergen expensive (it is a stop for cruise liners). Some good museums and a lively harbour area.
Location and . Good breakfasthelpful staff
Very good location, well trained friendly staff. Value for money
Initially the price charged was different to that booked by yourselves.
After some discussion they agreed to use the price quoted by yourselves.
Bus to airport starts here
Food facility, next to many scenic view, bright room, excellent breakfast
Great location, very good breakfast & room was adequate if smaller than expected.
Being initially given a twin room when we wanted a queen bed. When we were moved another couple was given a key to the same room.
Location was perfect for accessing the harbor, city mountain parks, fish-
market, old town. Breakfast was good but very crowded (large bus groups)
so its best to go very early or very late. Plenty of accessible plug
sockets. They had a hair dryer and an iron in the room. Ice machines
easily accessible. Beds were comfortable. Guest services did bring us a
room fan which helped enormously.
We rented three rooms, none had any view and two faced a wall. We got 2
changed to at least have very restricted view, but couldn't change
the third. The bus arrivals made the front desk inaccessible to any of
the regular guests. Front desk did not know and incorrectly informed us
of how the parking worked. Cooling in room didn't work properly - we
died with the heat - odd for Norway.
Location very good and staff very helpful
Excellent breakfast choices.
great location right in the Old Town.
It's a grizzle I know. but if you provide a kettle for making coffee, put in a powerpoint. We had to put it on the floor, did not fit in bathroom as cord too sshort to reach plug. Just dumb
Proximity to fast boat mooring in the harbor. Convenient to sights.
Room was a bit small for the price but I guess you pay for location.
location and the quality
the staff is not warm as other Radisson hotels
Modern, well integrated facilities
Needs a more comfortable chair in the room
Position, room comfortable, breakfast good, free wifi
Room was hot and aircon didnt work properly.
Style of room and breakfast.
Total lack of view - you had to keep curtains closed as other rooms could look straight in.
Upgrade to business class room and very helpful staff. Excellent location.
Restaurant not open at lunch time. No swimming pool.
They supply the small square towel.
There midnight sunset outside the window.
Rooms Bar wait staff
I didn't get my wake-up call which I had requested in person at front desk Could have missed International flight BAD
the location is great!
- Best location in Bergen
- Very nice mordern design
- Room is comfortable
- Breakfast is very nice
- Nice staff
- Roomrate is a little bit high
- Room is not big
Everything was fantastic! I will definitely return to this hotel!!!
Only down point was the inability to provide fresh milk for my hospitality tray....reception said they 'would try the kitchen' but I didn't hear any more about it. Very minor hiccup though.
Very Very expensive $525/night. Gouging the tourist.
Design-location at Bryggen-verry central, can walk to bus train, boat.
Cost. But that's Norway.
Location, break fast, big room.
Great breakfast with many selection and good quality. located just near harbor. Comfortable and clean room (I was upgraded to business room).
30mins walk from station with no bus from hotel to main station. Narrow spa area.
Good location, and Turkish sauna. Good breakfast. Clean rooms.
Man who checked us in was not friendly at all. Very abrupt - said only 3
words to us. 'Name!'... 'Credit Card!'... And when
handing us our key...'Second floor!'
FYI: This man was on the reception desk approx 4pm on Friday 10 May.
Apart from this guy... everyone else was friendly and helpful.
This was a great hotel, reminded me of a quality American hotel with
large rooms, restaurants, and fitness facilities. The location was
perfect for sightseeing in Bergen. We arrived at the train station after
our Norway in a Nutshell tour and walked approx. 10 minutes to the
hotel. It's right next to the picturesque Byrggen area and the
flybussen bus stops right at the hotel to bring you to the airport.
Breakfast was fantastic and included in the rate.
Nothing. This place was great. Unless you count the high price, but we
feel we got a good deal for this great spot.
Goog hotel for good price.
Very good breakfast
Comfortable and convenient
Gym was clean and well set out
Staff at check in provided no advice whatsoever, even had to ask where the lifts were. Unfriendly and business like male assistant checked me in. Very poor initial impression.
The hotel is very well situated in the heart of Bergen. After total renovation its surely one of the best hotels in town. Underground is parking house with direct access to the reception. Internet is complimentary. Breakfast is excellent.
The connection with the underground parking facility is poor and not marked properly.
Hotel is located at one end of Bryggen, so right in the centre
(everything you need to see in Bergen is then within walking distance).
Room was ok, clean and big enough (up to standard expectation at
Radisson). Breakfast was amazing - great choice of food to help yourself
from whether you fancy a continental or English or Norwegian breakfast.
Personnel was very "cold" and distant, not making great
efforts or showing you they are happy to welcome you at their hotel. Can
definitely be improved. Not a big deal though for a 1-night stay.
Norway people (they are very helpful, always smile), food, transport convience, panorama views.
Hotel location and breakfast very good.Airport shuttle bus waiting at hotel outside every 15 minutes( adult 100krn).
all goods and food are too expensive...
We had order one extra bed,we find in the bed one condom and bed lining was dirty. Speak to to the women that cleaning, and she change on the bed and removed the condom(the condom was not used)
I liked the buffet breakfast and being able to stay in the room for an extra hour after the original check out time.
Reception area was always quiet and had to loiter before someone appeared.
