Excellent breakfast choices.
great location right in the Old Town.
It's a grizzle I know. but if you provide a kettle for making coffee, put in a powerpoint. We had to put it on the floor, did not fit in bathroom as cord too sshort to reach plug. Just dumb
location and the quality
the staff is not warm as other Radisson hotels
Proximity to fast boat mooring in the harbor. Convenient to sights.
Room was a bit small for the price but I guess you pay for location.
Style of room and breakfast.
Total lack of view - you had to keep curtains closed as other rooms could look straight in.
Position, room comfortable, breakfast good, free wifi
Room was hot and aircon didnt work properly.
Modern, well integrated facilities
Needs a more comfortable chair in the room
Upgrade to business class room and very helpful staff. Excellent location.
Restaurant not open at lunch time. No swimming pool.
They supply the small square towel.
There midnight sunset outside the window.
Rooms Bar wait staff
I didn't get my wake-up call which I had requested in person at front desk Could have missed International flight BAD
the location is great!
- Best location in Bergen
- Very nice mordern design
- Room is comfortable
- Breakfast is very nice
- Nice staff
- Roomrate is a little bit high
- Room is not big
Everything was fantastic! I will definitely return to this hotel!!!
Only down point was the inability to provide fresh milk for my hospitality tray....reception said they 'would try the kitchen' but I didn't hear any more about it. Very minor hiccup though.
Very Very expensive $525/night. Gouging the tourist.
Design-location at Bryggen-verry central, can walk to bus train, boat.
Cost. But that's Norway.
Location, break fast, big room.
Great breakfast with many selection and good quality. located just near harbor. Comfortable and clean room (I was upgraded to business room).
30mins walk from station with no bus from hotel to main station. Narrow spa area.
Good location, and Turkish sauna. Good breakfast. Clean rooms.
Man who checked us in was not friendly at all. Very abrupt - said only 3
words to us. 'Name!'... 'Credit Card!'... And when
handing us our key...'Second floor!'
FYI: This man was on the reception desk approx 4pm on Friday 10 May.
Apart from this guy... everyone else was friendly and helpful.
This was a great hotel, reminded me of a quality American hotel with
large rooms, restaurants, and fitness facilities. The location was
perfect for sightseeing in Bergen. We arrived at the train station after
our Norway in a Nutshell tour and walked approx. 10 minutes to the
hotel. It's right next to the picturesque Byrggen area and the
flybussen bus stops right at the hotel to bring you to the airport.
Breakfast was fantastic and included in the rate.
Nothing. This place was great. Unless you count the high price, but we
feel we got a good deal for this great spot.
Goog hotel for good price.
Very good breakfast
Comfortable and convenient
Gym was clean and well set out
Staff at check in provided no advice whatsoever, even had to ask where the lifts were. Unfriendly and business like male assistant checked me in. Very poor initial impression.
The hotel is very well situated in the heart of Bergen. After total renovation its surely one of the best hotels in town. Underground is parking house with direct access to the reception. Internet is complimentary. Breakfast is excellent.
The connection with the underground parking facility is poor and not marked properly.
Hotel is located at one end of Bryggen, so right in the centre
(everything you need to see in Bergen is then within walking distance).
Room was ok, clean and big enough (up to standard expectation at
Radisson). Breakfast was amazing - great choice of food to help yourself
from whether you fancy a continental or English or Norwegian breakfast.
Personnel was very "cold" and distant, not making great
efforts or showing you they are happy to welcome you at their hotel. Can
definitely be improved. Not a big deal though for a 1-night stay.
Norway people (they are very helpful, always smile), food, transport convience, panorama views.
Hotel location and breakfast very good.Airport shuttle bus waiting at hotel outside every 15 minutes( adult 100krn).
all goods and food are too expensive...
We had order one extra bed,we find in the bed one condom and bed lining was dirty. Speak to to the women that cleaning, and she change on the bed and removed the condom(the condom was not used)
I liked the buffet breakfast and being able to stay in the room for an extra hour after the original check out time.
Reception area was always quiet and had to loiter before someone appeared.
Comfort room and
Limited food offering at night
Great location and really comfortable. As we were leaving early asked for a breakfast box which was a real feast
As it was Easter (I thought it was a good week away) hardly any staff around and none answering telephones. Very bad service from a hotel such as this, excuses and no help.
The Breakfast was excellent and the staff very nice and polite. The barman was entertaining with his juggling.
Very clean and comfortable hotel - wonderful to come back to after a cold winter's day out. Room is very spacious too. The breakfast buffet is awesome and with a large variety of food.
Location is at the Bryggen Hanseatic Wharf and the airport bus stops at the hotel driveway.
Although location is good, it's still a distance from the main train station which was our arrival point. Dragging luggage from the train station to the hotel at night would have been a pain so we chose to take a taxi instead.
We had requested for a double bed but got twin beds instead.
Staff were professional but not too friendly and not warm.
Very comfortable beds!
Value for money
So-called Busines class rooms are very comfort and quite. It's very warm in the rooms (that is important in such a chilly climate)
So-called Econom class rooms don't have shower cabin or tube at all (if you want to take a shower, you should stand directly on the floor) - this is really very strange and looks like in the lodge
good choice of breakfast
Room did not have a wardrobe or chest of drawers-just a few coathangers provided.
Size of room was very small. Price slightly less than that quoted by tourist information guide, however not good value.
On checking in we had to give credit card details although we stated that we would be using cash.
On checking out we were automatically debited full amount on the card-all was sorted by the hotel but unnecessary hassle.
The hotel is comfortable, efficiently run, and well located in the Bryggen quarter, with free wifi and a very good breakfast menu.
The dirty state of the corridor carpets was a definite negative, and we were unable to obtain blankets to replace the heavy quilts on the beds. Our attic room was smaller than its hefty price suggested it would be.
We liked the atmosphere. Good breakfast and friendly Service.
Parking was very expensive.
The location is fantastic. Right in the middle of the old town and at the harbour. They serve excellent breakfast too.
The service was OK. The rooms were very small and the price was too high.
quick and efficient check in and check out
poor wifi connectivity. called reception 3 times but they could not fix it
no business center I could work in
breakfast: overcrowded, slow to fill dishes and coffee urns, tea water ,milk. Waiters seemed harassed: no smiles
the food and location
the view from the room
The lack of service from staff and the non-functioning room elements (eg safe, some lights)
