This place defines hospitality! I was late after a long drive. Reception was closed, but I called ahead and Claire organised a room, turned on the lights and the heat and had it ready when I arrived after 10 pm. And she was at the desk again at 7 in the morning when I went for breakfast! I've stayed in hotels all over the world and this is some of the best service I have ever had. Thanks again.
所有评语 » Excellent value for money in this busy resort. We discovered this lovely fresh-water pool on a hot day too. Wonderful! A good tennis court also. New bathroom,comfortable beds and all very clean. Staff helpful. Good breakfast too. Good situation. Nice drive to entrance. We had a wonderful stay for two nights. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We had breakfast included and it was plentiful and delicious. Room was comfortable and quiet. Would definately book and stay here again. Thank you for our wonderful stay x. amaziiing! from the free parking, to the receptionist, breakfast, room, tv, beds, hignhly recommended, first time in taupo ever and we are soo going back to that resort. don't be silly, you will never find something that good at that price.word. Excellent value for money - Great place, great views, Claire the reception/guest services provided excellent customer service and was very friendly. Paid 129 and then 119 the next night and was very happy. Hotel was in an excellent location, it was clean and the staff there were very friendly and helpful. The town centre is a short 20 minute walk away from the hotel. I would not hesitate in going back. The staff was really helpful. Our room had very good view and overall was better that I expected for the money we paid. We used spa bath and tennis courts. All great. Highly recommend!. Loved the staff gill was a real assett on reception huge personality and the guy in reception who I didnt get him name was great too. I would stay there again and recommend to others. We found it to be lovely and clean, friendly staff and we were lucky to have a good view of the Lake to. Good to have nice hot water on demand and a roomy car park as well!. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, price was great for the experience. Location was also very good as its not too close to the busy town and not too far. Nice large, clean and comfortable room. Piping hot water and good spa bath. Just across the road from the lake and near restaurants etc. good breakfast buffet. This resort was very quiet. Although close to the lake and town, I felt like I was miles out. Excellent parking facilities too. Good value too. Richie in the restaurant was absolutely awesome. Stayed there a week before and had excellent service in restaurant and from the counter staff. Very good value. Staff were helpful and we had arranged to arrive early to attend a wedding. Clean and warm. No complaints at all, only praise. We were made welcome. Booking in and departure were hassle free. Rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable and we enjoyed a cooked breakfast. When the lovely at the front desk heard we were with friends, she moved us to a room that was close to our friends. Clean room the "deal" which was the room[3 singles) and breakfast for $109 for a couple. Excellent breakfast. the bathroom seemed brandnew - very clean. The meal at the restaurant was delicious. Staff very helpful. priced excellent meals in the restaurant excellent reception staff very friendy and unit had a lake view. The staff were really lovely and the food for dinner and also breakfast was really good and priced well. It could have looked brighter but all comfortable. The new toilet cistern made a terrible noise when flushed! Another couple of guests mentioned this to us also so it was not a one-off problem.It would not deter us from staying there again. No ventilation in the bathroom. Nothing. Shower head is very low and not able to move it - not a deal breaker though!. Nothing, myself and my partner loved it!. Nothing. All good. Nothing. No hand rail in the shower. It is a stainless steel shower tray and one could easily slip. Breakfast. Good on the Saturday, but cold and unappetizing on the Sunday morning. Our fridge in the unit didn't work. No electric blankets on the coldest night of the year. However the wall heater was effective. We did not ask the staff as it was very late when we arrived so maybe they would have provided them. I just assumed they would be standard equipment. We found the bathroom quite basic. Not that we didn't like it. No light above alcove where tea/coffee/ jug were stored and used. Smaller room than expected and quite basic. Nothing really being upstairs was small problem for my husband with spinal problems but not surmountable. No extractor fan in the bathroom. I use a cpap machine for sleep apnoea and there was no ordinary 3 point plug by bed head. as only one night did not get extension cord. When checking in on arrival the receptionist took my credit card and ran it through the machine to take full payment for the room and breakfast without asking my consent to do so. I am accustomed to paying the bill on departure. The loud humming noise from the facilities block. We like a microwave and toaster. Not really anything just would if liked to stay longer. There was not enough room to get around if someone was sitting at the table. No plates/utensils in the room to use for snacking or having a bite when not using the restaurant or going out Shower wasn't the best - very low pressure/volume & quite noisy in our room when next door turns their shower on. Desk closes around 10 PM in the winter. Spider webs in bathroom and lounge/bedroom. Shower glass door bottom track mouldy. The double bed a bit hard. Very few appliances. eg no toaster. Restaurant closed. letsbookhotel.com assured us we got the best room rate but a big sign at the entrance read $99 as special room rate. Couldn't comment on the staff as we only saw a receptionist. Breakfast was okay but cold and had been out for over an hour and the 'hot' food had not even ben stirred.
