It's a very lovely property, in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood, close to many attractions and to the city enter. The one bedroom apartments had all the amenities making for a pleasant stay there. It has nice grounds with picnic tables, swimming pool and sauna. We loved the temperature of water (around 32 C - 94 F) in the swimming pool and also enjoyed the sauna. The management was very friendly and helpful. We also liked that every unit has a parking spot next to it.
所有评语 » Very well presented. The management very friendly and gave us free milk on 2 days as we were at a Choral Festival and could not go shopping to get the groceries on the 2nd day. Also it had v nice furniture and fittings with a lovely bathroom and shower and fresh plunger Coffee - a luxury before going to bed!. A girlfriend and I are sharing facilities and were delight to see that we had two bedrooms and two television, two places for our electronics and two platform for our suitcase off the floor. It was very spacious and very clean. And a private soaker tub outside at the back. Excellent accommodations. The Alpin was wonderful!!!! We stayed two nights and really felt at home there. Full services including hot tub and laundry and kitchen. It was very quiet and the bed very comfy. It literally had all the comforts of home! The staff was friendly and helpful as well. Even in Rotorua it is difficult to find an affordable but clean, well maintained and comfortable motel with a private spa, and the Alpin motel ticks the boxes. Excellent service, homely units and a unique feel, I would recommend the Alpin to anyone. Very helpful & friendly Acting Manager..he put himself out to be hospitable. I needed a motel only as a base to visit friends so can't comment on many of the descriptions offered above beyond saying the Alpin served my purpose very well. The front desk people are friendly and helpful. The motel has heat pump and all the kitchenware. It is a comfortable motel for the family with kids. The spa is really nice. I will stay there again. Very big motel. Clean comfortable room quiet in night no any traffic noise. Private Spa pool. Warm swimming pool can swimming in winter. Friendly managers very helpful. Very friendly staff. Helpful, and even gave us a discount voucher to use at the Whakawerawera village - very handy location for a trip there too!. we enjoyed the hottub the quite, how close it was to everything within walking distance.the guide book that was on hand excellent weekend stay. Everything. Lovely people to deal with. Very clean rooms and a pleasure to stay there. Will defiantly be back if we come back down again. Pools were heated. Private spa tub at each unit was great for private family baths. Located just a short drive from town center. We liked the quiet position. This accommodation would be nice and cozy in the Winter as it has extensive heating facilities. The motel was nice & clean, smelt nice. It was pleasant to stay in nicely laid out. Loved the Spa Pool. Huge rooms, comfy beds, heated 24/7 pool, spa in each private "backyard", friendly and helpful staff. Everything was just how we expected, fantastic :) will definitely stay there again when in Rotorua. Quiet friendly lovely pool clean rooms and private pool was a luxury staff so helpful. Private spa tub was nice although the courtyard was a bit tired and rundown looking. Lovely motel, spa pool was great, nice, and clean, would def go again. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Pool Bike wash. The Geo thermal site was excellent. In-suit spa hub Free wifi. The room was comfortable. I loved the spa. This motel was very quiet at night, so being a very light sleeper I appreciated this. The friendly manner of the person (not the owner) in reception when we left. Good location, Great Privacy the place has great potential to improve. The swimming pool could be maintained a little bit better. The interior decorating could also be updated a bit. The Private Spa big and nice but had not been cleaned so we could not use it as we had no time to wash it all out, mostly Bird mess inside. In NZ a kitchen efficiency capacity is normal in hotel rooms with dishes and some have a cooking capacity in addition to a microwave. Our stove elements which worked when we arrived, stopped but the manager gave us an electric frying pan for cooking so problem was solved. The laundry locks up too early. I have been coming to the Alpin, previously Pui Nui for a decade and have failed to find a flaw. Keep it up!. Nothing really..though did wish the lighting in the rooms was much stronger, especially in the lounge/ kitchen area. Perhaps in addition to the bedroom, a radio in the lounge area too? The lack of a nearby bus service/courtesy vehicle for airport/city travel makes taxis an expensive extra. In night, yard a little bit dark. Natural lighting in the units were a bit poor. Nothing. 'King bed' was 2 beds pushed together - not comfortable over the join. Sheets very thin and worn 150mls milk doesn't go far. Limit on wifi usage. The Sky sport reception was bad. Really hard to watch. Sala road Traffic at night .....trucks shaking the windows. Smell was a bit difficult to cope with Times. The smell outside offcourse. Room 36 mattress has seen better days. problems with wifi access. When I arrived the greeting was not very friendly. The owner continued looking at her computer, and took quite some time to acknowledge us. She made me feel I was a nuisance to her. The rooms are extremely dark. The tap in the bathroom had a buildup of dirt around the base of it, where it met the basin. I did not like that the bed was two singles put together. There was not Enough Shampoo or Soap for 3 of us.!! The Cooking top was not of good quality. Arrived to a dismal, dark, cold uninviting room, looks nothing like the picture or description, the plug to heater was burnt and would not come out of the socket. Did not stay the whole night, paid for one night and found alternative accomodation.
