  We liked the convenience of the location. Walking through Hagley Park and on to the Botanic Gardens was great. We also walked to breakfast some mornnings at Vic's (a great spot!) and dinner at various restaurants. The desk staff couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. They were always ready to help us with directions, etc. We dealt with Joel... 别人怎么说 » mostly and I wanted to express our graditude to her for being so helpful. The free Internet was great, especially since that was our only connection - The ability to check in late (1.30am in my case) by prior arrangement was much appreciated. The hotel is close to some really nice places to eat. It's far enough from the centre to not feel like you are in the middle of depressing devastation, but close enough to walk to the Re-Start Mall and things that are still open (like the excellent Canterbury museum) in the centre of the city.

  Close to centre, rooms were nice, spacious and clean, free wifi and freeparking, great value for money. - Good sized room, well presented, bed very comfortable. The staff were very obliging - nothing was a problem

  Very quiet but close to everything we needed. Staff friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable. - comfy bed, good price, back off the street so no traffic noise, they acted on our feedback.
