  We liked everything about Bay Sands - the Manager was the most helpful, informative,friendly person we came across in our whole NZ holiday... Nothing too much trouble and we ate at some amazing places thanks to his suggestions......And if this wasn't enough he even offered to allow us to leave our car at the motel whilst we went on an overnight cr... 别人怎么说 » uise as it was far safer at the Motel than anywhere else. Our room had a beach view, was spotlessly clean and well fitted out with kitchenette etc - v - Staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival. Room was clean and comfortable and facilities were very good. We had a ground floor sea view, which wasn't strictly a sea view as most of the time, cars were parked directly across from the room as there was parking for the beach. The beach was literally across the street, though so it was still a good spot. Restaurants, the wharf and the centre is a 15 minute walk from the accommodation, so pretty good location.

  The total experience was excellent right from the beginning. Barbara, the manager, was outstanding and couldnt have been more helpful.
