Everything ... really. This was just a great hotel. Clean, comfortable, pleasing, modern, convenient. Proprietors were great. Gave good and helpful advise. One of the very best on a long trip around NZ. And the city of Nelson is absolutely delightful. Deserving of a longer stay in the future. One of the most pleasant and clean small cities I have ever travelled to. Brilliant location, staff and willingness to help and fulfill all needs. The small things ie. 2 baggage racks and many other things well done. Clean comfortable laid out unit and very comfortable bed and pillows. Good value for money. I would definetely go back.

Averil & Bob are the loveliest hosts. very friendly & caring i couldn't have wanted anymore on a solo trip & requiring the comforts of home. highly recommended xx. We really liked the spacious well equipped kitchen. Also really liked the spa bath in the room. And the only place where we could get our washing and drying done, in our room! The service from the staff was really great. And the room was very clean. Location was excellent, just a short walk to city center for shops, cafes, resturants, staff were friendly, very well appointed rooms. We were surprised really, & very good value for money. A great base for having a look around Nelson. What a great well run facility.The price per night was well worth it and actually very realistic considering the quality of the room.Very high standards and am going to stay there again next year ,would also highly recommend to others. The comfort away from home, most impressed. Hosts were just lovely, wonderful people. Central, quick walk to town. Hosts were prepared to do room service of good gourmet meals from The Tides restaurant across the road. Excellent spacious and comfortable studio apartment with balcony. Exceptionally good facilities for both cooking and laundry, immaculately clean. Reception very helpful and friendly on arrival. Thoroughly recommended. I had written that I wanted a spa studio in the extra collum even tho I ticked that room and they sorted it for me which was amazing. Very well set up and excellent staff who sorted all my requirements. The cleanliness, comfort and especially the washing machine & dryer in our apartment. The swimming pool was a bonus which we used each day of our stay as was the walking distance to town. Spacious, clean, everything worked, and staff very efficient and friendly. Quiet location despite being 2 mins walk from main shopping street. Info centre and supermarket within 3 mins walk. Clean room with comfortable beds. free wifi worked well. We enjoyed having our own washer and dryer in the bathroom. The location was ideal for walking into town. Lots to TV channels too!!. Balconey, apart from lack of sunshade or umbrella, was a pleasant place to sit at cool times. Recommended restaurant just across the road was good. Excellent base for a family wedding and kitting up for a serious NZ back country walk (all in one trip). Great staff, excellent facilities, nice short walk to the pub. We felt the managers had gone to a lot of trouble to get everything just right - TV, washing machine, tea/coffee facilities - we didn't find any better accommodation. the extra touches for example 2 types of wine glass, fine china cups for coffee , real coffee , plain decor , nice lighting ...... a super discovery in the City. Motel was very good clean & tidy + central.Really friendly staff that greeted us well and had some good suggestions as to what we could do while in Nelson. It was one of the best equipped rooms we have stayed in recently. A very easy walk into the centre of Nelson. An overall very high standard of accommodation. The units are very well appointed and comfortable. the fact that we couldn't get there the day we booked so they rolled it over to the following day instead at no extra cost. I would recommend it to anyone. Every thing was ok, except... A dishwasher is totaly unnecessary. But an oven essential for a unit of this size. it was warm and there were pleasant furnishings. Although the unit was on the street it was nice and quiet. Amazing location and superb apartment. Everything was catered for and the balcony was such an added bonus. Everything was clean , the gardens, the pool and there was plenty of parking. good size room, large windows/door to outside table and chairs, comfortable. Nothing, as everything was very well done. Though not a major problem a later checkout would have been nice as my flight was a late one. That I couldn't stay longer. Can't think of anything. Nothing, but swim pool is a mini one, only about 5 metres long. Bathroom. Crowded with washing machine & dryer crammed into it. Advertised "Spa Bath" which was an important feature, was a narrow bath tub with shower above it. We have seen/used much more superior Spa Baths prior. Balconey badly needed an umbrella or pull down shade as it was unuseable during the hot sunny days. Not much. Was all good. There was a wedding on the Saturday night and we thought it was going to be very noisy but the guests went to be quite early and was not a problem. That my shower at home doesn't have such awesome water pressure :(. There was nothing I didn't like. Lack of space for clothes. Lack of view (not that much can be done about that!). Floor not vacuumed in three days. Having to carry heavy luggage, food etc up steps. The hairdryer, it is attached to the wall and very hard to use. N/A. The accommodation had lots facilities however they were cramped into a very small space. Really disappointed that no brush available. This is a basic requirement. we found no faults or negative aspects with De Lorenzos. Would recommend to other travellers. Nothing. The reception staff were avarage. No oven, and as all the parking was taken up we were forced to park our car on the street front. N/A. Loved having a bath, but it was uncomfortable Odd set up with 2 recliners in front of the bed Very little sun Weird arrangement with a shelving unit in the middle of the mirror in the bathroom. Car parking is a bit hit or miss. The bed was a bit hard which was the only let down. Nothing - everything exceeded expectations. We decided to check out early but had to pay for the next night anyway. Nothing. There was nothing I didn't like. nothing.
