Due to the earthquake disaster in the city center, now most of the shops and exciting places are now very near to Designer C - Everything to like. My older father-in-law was travelling by himself, and was looked after so well. He was upgraded in his room to be closer to facilities with the wet weather, and the host drove to collect dinner for him in the wet weather, as well as dropped him off in town to meet up with his reunion group. The Airport Palms Motel was really clean and quiet. The bonus of a large tv screen and kitchenette was a surprise plus. Airport Palms is easy to get to from the airport. I'd happily - and no doubt will - stay here again when in Christchurch.
