  The hotel was undergoing alterations - it was a bit of a shock when we arrived as this was not mentioned on the website - we liked the staff who were extremely helpful, the reception staff were very efficient.   Lovely deluxe room with the most comfortable beds and pillows we ever had. Heaters were on day and night as it was - 4deg. Didnt want to leave it. It felt like home. Breakfast was great too. Hotel owner Chris couldnt have done more to make our stay enjoyable. Lovely town too. - nice breakfast; cosy, little, old-style Dutch hotel

  Great breakfast. Very tidy and Linda was very helpful. Easy parking outside. The canal view room on the first floor is particurly nice. Good cafes etc for diner in the evening.   The staff were unfailingly helpful, kind, and responsive. The location, in the center of the old city, was ideal. And the hotel arranges for free parking two short blocks away from the hotel. And the breakfast served each morning was substantial, fresh, and very attractively presented.
