  The hotel was undergoing alterations - it was a bit of a shock when we arrived as this was not mentioned on the website - we liked the staff who were extremely helpful, the reception staff were very efficient.   Good clean cheap hotel. When I came only older people (50 and older), so the hotel was quite quiet as well. Directly in the city center, everything was easy to reach.   Very good breakfast; something that also was reflected in the restaurant and the truly excellent dinner we had there. Also, in my opinion, the (interior) architecture solutions (lobby, restaurant, lounge) were done very well, and a joy to experience and behold.

  Lovely deluxe room with the most comfortable beds and pillows we ever had. Heaters were on day and night as it was - 4deg. Didnt want to leave it. It felt like home. Breakfast was great too.   Great breakfast. Very tidy and Linda was very helpful. Easy parking outside. The canal view room on the first floor is particurly nice. Good cafes etc for diner in the evening.   The staff were unfailingly helpful, kind, and responsive. The location, in the center of the old city, was ideal. And the hotel arranges for free parking two short blocks away from the hotel. And the breakfast served each morning was substantial, fresh, and very attractively presented.
