Location, atmosphere, high quality furnishing and food.
Cost breakfast was hidden extra not inclusive this was not made clear. I was not able to work out id basic TV viewing ( I.e not inclusive of Internet and adult channel ) was infact free or 15 euros additional - so opted to not use TV

Beautiful location. Rooms were a pleasant surprise, spacious, comfortable and well presented.

Toilet seat cover was very loose. Hotel staff stated they had nobody to fix it during the weekend, but would send someone the first working day.

No poweroutlets in the room. To use any of my equipment had to either unplug a lamp or the TV.

Staff in the restaurant was not that professional as I would expect as well as admitting dogs in the restaurant
The dinner and breakfest were perfect: a large choice and very tasty!
The blanket was with white spots on it and the room was not perfectly cleaned as usually the case for the Van der Valk hotels (A4, Spier, Assen)
