  I stayed in Hotel Nepalaya for 3 nights before joining tour at Thamel eco resort. My stay at Nepalaya was wonderful! From the moment I walked in to the reception area I found the staff very friendly and with a good sense of humour!(Milan- the manager I'm talking) I was taken to my room(204) and shown around. Later I found out that theytook the trouble of analyzing where I m comming from and identifying the flight!!! I was completely amazed!!!   The staff in the hotel were very friendly, and it is 'one stop shop' to organise for everything in Kathmandu. Dipendra (Dip) is the hotel manager who is a 'goto' man. When we arrived at the hotel,we did not have any plans.   Friendly staff and good location! I stayed here for one night only. The staff Sujan and Genesh helps me a lot when I arrive. They are soooo friendly and speaks good English. The hotel is located in Thamel area which is a popular shopping area in Kathmandu. Lots of stores around here.
