Located at Meknes Medina, just 7 minutes walk from the main square and 3 minutes from medina markets, it has a private car parking just in 100 meters nearby, thus you can come by car and leave it in a safe place. The locals in the market are all very friendly. The market was amazing the best we had seen in Morocco, a definate must do.

  We loved our stay here, including the night in the desert they arranged for us. The staff was amazing and the family that owns the guesthouse was incredibly welcoming -- Hassan sat on the terrace with us for half an hour just to chat after we arrived. They're also working to preserve the dunes and keep dirtbikes and quads off them. Great people!   Absolutely massive rooms in a stunning complex built right on the dune line, with bucket loads of character and filled with Moroccan handicrafts.   Though we found the facilities quite basic, this riad delivered what we came for. Ali, the owner, was very available, friendly and responsive to our needs. We wanted to experience desert culture and because of him we did. He took us to a village wedding which happened to be taking place the nite we arrived; he took us on a 4wd trip into the desert... 别人怎么说 » to visit a family, hear some traditional musicians, and see aspects of the desert we wouldnt have seen without him. The fact that the riad is located - We were very well greeted by Ali and his staff. Ali quickly arranged jeep and dromedary (no camels in Africa) trips for us. The room was nicely decorated, Maroccan style. We had a wonderful evening meal under the tent by the pool and all you can eat breakfast. Above all we got what we came for, to see the desert, visit a different culture and meet friendly people.

  Everything was perfect! We booked a room at Chez tonton and got a really big, nice and clean room in berber style. The staff was really friendly! We also booked a trip with a driver around the desert, saw fossiles, an old coal mine, nomads in their tents, had a nice picnic next to the desert under a tree, etc. in the evening we made a camel trip ... 别人怎么说 » into the dunes and stayed overnight. Our guide cooked us a superb tajine and Berber Khalia and we could watch the stars and enjoy the silence of the - Very friendly owner, very helpfull (he helped us with booking a camel). Hosts were very accommodating, Mohammed met us at the bus station and helped us with our baggage to hotel, and fed us dinner when we arrived. We were looking to do sandboarding, the hotel helped arrange us a day trip for a reasonable price exactly as we wanted. Breakfast on terrace was really nice.

  Auberge La Source is placed just in front of the big erg.Hassan´s family is very nice and the service is perfect. Breakfast and dinner were included and they were always big and very delicious. We stayed there only one night but we have many unforgetable memories - sunset in dessert with cammels and our perfect guide Mohamed (thanks a lot, Moha... 别人怎么说 » med, it was really a beautiful experience). We can highly recommend this Auberge to other visitors. You will be very happy there. Ivana and Vladimir - La Source is located in the small village of Hassi Labied, a 15min drive from Merzouga and a short walking distance from the Great Dune of Erg Chebbi. The view is wonderful from their terrace. The auberge is clean and welcoming, brothers Omar and Said treated us as real friends and their sisters cooked the best tagines. We would love to go back to La Source and definitely recommend you to choose them.

  We had an excellent stay in this authentic place, located just in front of big dunes of Erg Chebbi. The hotel is located in Hassilabied village (4 km from Merzouga). I've found this village much more pleasant than Merzouga. There are less hustlers pushing you to take a camel trip, it is cleaner and more relaxing.
