  The food was great. The staff were great. The beach was excellent for beach volleyball. The pools were warm enough to swim in. We had a ground floor room which made it easy to get to/from the pool, the beach, and the buffet restaurant (The Market). The bed was extremely comfortable!

  I chose this Hotel because I wanted to stay at a historical -looking place. It was just what I expected. The interior is beautiful. I really liked the high ceilings. I requested a room with a balcony and got it no problem. The room was huge and bath was spacious. Staff was helpful. At check out staff helped us out with a map and directions to where - Everything about this hotel was done well...the decor is outstanding, and everything was beautifully maintained. Very good breakfast buffet and menu, and delicious dinner...even vegetarian.
