  This is a basic but clean and comfortable hotel located in town. It is about a 10 minute walk to Medano Beach and 5 minutes to the beautiful marina. We asked questions at the front desk re the local bus system and received good information in English each time. It was two blocks of the start of the main drag with all the bars, as close as four blocks to the harbor (the harbor promenade was quite long once you get there), two blocks to the high end shopping mall and suburban bus stops, but there was a more local bus stop across the street.

  We just got back from our trip and stayed at Santa Matia Hotel. We stayed for 7 night. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very freindly. Our room was very large bigger than any one we had when staying at an all inclusive. Very large shower for 2. The room had a microwave 2 burner stove sink and a bar fridge. For breakfast it is ok, but go dining in the nearby restaurants up the street towards town. There's a big supermarket and a Starbucks opposite the area.
