Hotel was close walk to everywhere in Cabo and near to many local non-tourist oriented restaurants. We asked questions at the front desk re the local bus system and received good information in English each time. It was two blocks of the start of the main drag with all the bars, as close as four blocks to the harbor (the harbor promenade was quite long once you get there), two blocks to the high end shopping mall and suburban bus stops, but there was a more local bus stop across the street.

We just got back from our trip and stayed at Santa Matia Hotel. We stayed for 7 night. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very freindly. The appartements are very luxerios, beds are comfortable and TV and WiFi fine. There are some useful tools in the kitchen, but don't expect cooking, boiling eggs are the most you can do and there is a wine opener and a microwave. For breakfast it is ok, but go dining in the nearby restaurants up the street towards town. There's a big supermarket and a Starbucks opposite the area. Staff was very friendly and eager to help. Any problems were addressed immediately. Quiet and nice pool. Restaurant was fantastic, possibly the best food in all of Cabo. I liked that there was no phone or TV in the room, but there was free wi-fi with a good signal. Good value. -
