A bit expensive, yet it is okay. Convenient for snokelling. The facilities and service can be improved. E.G. utensils should be provided when serving the fruits; no rubbish bin is provided in the pantry area. Even we called the housekeeping for the utensils, the request was unattended eventually.

  Rasa Ria is not a cheap resort but it is a lovely one. The rooms were well thoughtfully designed for the traveler - for once the room lighting was such that you could actually see in the room. What I liked the most about Rasa Ria was that some activities were included in the room price such as kayaking and sailing. The restaurants were also reason... 别人怎么说 » ably priced. I didn't get the feeling that I was always putting my hand in my pocket. The Orang-utan sanctuary was an added bonus. - I have been to many 5 star hotels but this is definitely one of the best for a family vacation. It has two wings - Ocean wing and Garden Wing. Both have a beautiful pool. The garden wing pool has a very nice slide for the kids. There are 3 restaurants which serve really nice food. We wanted to extend by 1 day but there was not a single room available!

  The staff always made sure we had all we needed. The resort's private beach is exquisite and has a snorkeling trail for its clients. They also have a nice trekking path with a nice view of the tropical forest (an employee will take you there complimentarily). The spa was amazing as they have well trained professionals taking care of you.
