  the staff was friendly and helpfull, when we needed to go to town the shuttle was always ready for us, we could also take bikes and would be in the market in 5 min. The pool was fantastic and the breakfast very good too, with home made yogurt and jams.   This is a lovely hotel. The staff are very sweet and professional. I was greeted with a welcome drink and a delicious cut up mango, both creatively displayed. The layout of the grounds is well engineered with a terrace for breakfast/ hanging out that overlooks the pool and the gardens. My room was well designed and styled with a relax - We loved the location. It was very peaceful nestled in off one of the local streets on the oposite side of the river from the town. It was an easy walk into town across the bamboo bridge and equally fun to ride around on the hotel bikes. The shuttle service was well run ie airport pick ups and drop offs and regular service into town and back to the hotel in the evening.   Spent 2nights at this lovely hotel which was run by the friendly, warm-hearted Mother (Deang) and her son (Paul).   Great stay at Khoum XIengthong, the owner is quite friendly and very helpful, the location is near the tip of the pensinsula so about 10-15 min walk to the center or you can use complimentary bike.   What a fabulous place! We spent 4 nights at Luang Prabang Paradise Resort and enjoyed every minute of it. It is a small resort comprising approximately 20 bungalows set in a very lush garden on the bank of the Nam Khan River. The resort also provides bicycles and a courtesy bus into the town. This is a lovely little resort with a very relaxed and friendly atmosph - The resort is really lovely. The rooms are comfortable and quite spacious, the garden is gorgeous and the atmosphere is quiet and tranquil. The location is a bit out of town but they have a free shuttle bus which worked well, a few reviewers mentioned it is under the flight path, which it is, as its only a short distance from the airport, but there is not many flights a day anyways and it only lasts a few seconds, so didnt bother us at all.   The guy who runs the place is one of the most chilled out man we've ever met. So helpful and always gave us great advice on where to go and what to do. I'd definitely recommend this place. - Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location, with loads of bars and restaurants practically outside. Only minus is the wifi was fairly useless.

  We arrived at night to a brightly lit, double story guesthouse with a generous balcony. After kicking off our shoes on the doorstep ( to protect the beautiful teak floor) we found our room to be simply but tastefully furnished. Its about 5 minutes walk to town. He is a very friendly host and we were delighted he came to Kuang Si waterfalls with us!! - Rooms are very attractive with stained wood and recessed lighting. Big bed. Wifi worked fine in the room. Good location down a side street from the main road, and a ten minute walk to the night market area. The manager (and I think owner) is Vietnamese and doesn't speak much English or Laotian, but he tries hard to do everything to make sure you have a good stay.

В а - Very convenient location! Right in front of a beautiful temple on the main street, and yet very quite and comfortable. The morning alms giving was right in front, and the guesthouse made arrangements for us to participate in the ceremony, which was one of the most memorable experiences in Luang Prabang. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful wooden furniture gave the place a very authentic feel. Great value for money. Would definitely stay there again.
