  great place to stay in Siena - Travelling by car, we found the hotel more easily than we expected. We were given excellent advice at the hotel on parking in Sienna and using the escalator system to enter the old town. The rooms were good and were excellent value, as the prices were low.

  This is truly a great place. Very nice and helpfull staff and nice rooms. I was lucky to have a room with a terrace and the view down the valley. The hotel is located right under the historic center, easy to acces the city, in about 5 minutes walk. Restaurants are all close. - Great Hotel with superb staff and very nice place.

Short/ bus ride to city center. - The facilities offered were excellent. The apartments were 200m down from a large supermarket, so cooking in the apartment was made easy. The apartment is not close to the centre of Florence but is easily accessible by bus number 22 from the train station and centre of Florence (about 15-20 mins on the bus). If taking the bus there ring ahead and ask the staff exactly where to get off!

  The room was lovely but the ladies at the front desk made the stay the best -- from mailing my postcards to providing hot water for tea at night. We had DSL in the room which was great.   As a single female I felt very safe, my room was clean, no view but I don't stay in my room except to shower and sleep. The location was close to the train and bus station, I was able to walk everywhere. There are several good restaurants and pizzerias within 2 blocks. I very much enjoyed my stay.
