  Blu is situated about 1km from the port of Vulcano. The staff speak English and they were only to happy to send the shuttle bus to collect us and our luggage. The Hotel is actually a large collection of spacious, full equipped apartments, ie cooker, utensils etc. The bathroom was spotless as was the rest of the apartment. Here you will find seati - The pool area was great with a stunning view over the bay. The snack bar served excellent salads and paninis for lunch. The accommodation was spartan but clean and comfortable and well-designed so that you stay cool even at the hottest part of the day. The staff were very helpful and considerate and the shuttle bus down to the town is a great benefit. Ring or e-mail ahead and they will pick you up from the ferry when you arrive.

  The hotel is on the main road and easy to find. Walking distance from Alcantara gorge. Very relaxing place. We had the pool almost exclusively to ourself. We even haf a small bar b q by the pool!   The island had been closed for any boats because of weather, so the owner contacted us and proposed to change for the next day. However, it was in November - low season.   This was a very relaxing stay for us. The resort has all the normal facilities, rooms are very comfortable, staff are excellent and go out their way to make you feel at home. It's also close to other cities ie Augusta and Syracuse and is a easy short drive to Mt Etna. - Good size rooms, nice pool, great service, quiet hotel, free wi-fi

  Excellent!!! The host was young, nice and friendly, he really did care about us and our staying there. The rooms very clean and jolly, nice decorated and our apartment included a nice kitchen where we chose to have breakfast self cooked to enjoy it together. The owner was really nice and helped us print our airline ticket in his house. There is a nice area for BBQ out the back, and a little retreat with hammocks. We would recommend this for a group of people to stay as the on-site bar/restaurant is a good place to chill. very comfortable altogether!
