Everything - in particular the amazing hospitality of Danielle. Every time we arrived in the street with our car he would appear as if by magic to help us to park. His recommendations for dinner were spot on. The location is great - close to the beautiful cathedral and the apartment was well furnished and quiet. We much preferred the authenticity of Monreale to the noise and chaos of Palermo. I am a regular visitor to Italy and this was the best hotel I have experienced.
所有评语 » This was truly the Duke's Palace! Three levels of luxury starting with a large bathroom with a spa shower, then up to a large bedroom with a king size bed, then up to a living room with sofa and chair and an outside patio. Huge breakfast on the patio, courteous and friendly staff- Daniele comes out to meet you and parks your car in his very tight garage; great location for shopping and sightseeing. Ultra modern, beautifully arranged apartments, lovely bathroom with quality installation, excellent fresh produce for delicious breakfast on terrace overlooking garden and town, close to Cathedral and local restaurants. Owner Daniel extremely helpful with suggestions for sightseeing, and local quality dining, gave advice regarding road directions - a delightful experience. Very tastefully decorated and furnished, these suites are ideally situated for visiting the cathedral of Monreale and the sights of Palermo. Good breakfast in airy room or terrace. The owner is very helpful if asked and adept at reversing a car down the side street and into the garage area (and driving it out again), an expertise we were glad to make use of. Stylish design, very spacious, separate lounge, bedroom and bathroom (on three levels so not good if disabled) plus balcony. Pleasant breakfast room with excellent range of choice and good coffe. Great attention to detail by owners. Close to beautiful cathedral of Monreale. Owner very skilled and obliging over manoeuvring car into secure free garage space. The owner Daniele and his staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was beautifully furnished bright and airy. It is very convenient for visiting Palermo and Monreale is a very historic town it has one excellent restaurant which was recommended by Daniele. Very easy to find and the on-site parking was simple and efficient. The room was spacious, well equiped and had everything we needed. The location was ideal for access to restaurants and the Cathedral. We would go back anytime we were in the area. It is a very wonderful hotel. The staff are very polite. They helped us were They cold. The romms are beautiful. We can recommend ist. If we go to Monreal again, we want to stay there again. With a fewstps you are in the amazing dome. Very modern and clean hotel, family run and friendly helpful staff with nice breakfast! Owner will personally park your car for you in protected garage! (10EU fee) Very eco friendly suite w/ separate living room area! Great location!. Efficient and friendly director, who parked my car in the hotel's private garage. The Euro 10.- extra for this service was well spent. Great rooms, even hot towels in the bathroom. The cathedral is fantastic, go and see it!. Close to the centre of Monreale. Conveniently located, once you find it. Monreale is a charming town. We had difficulty locating the hotel, and folks in the street helped us out. The suite was really comfortable and we appreciated the sitting room after a long day walking around Palermo. A couple of very minor points: A little difficult to find but we asked a gentleman in the main square who got in the car and kindly directed us. The shower head was fixed too high for this (admittedly small) person to reach and adjust. Very hard to find, even with satnav, since in heart of congested town centre. Located down narrow street. Need help in parking car in garage. Ok for one night or person without car but otherwise a bit inconvenient as base for visiting places. Nothing everything was perfect. Nothing other than 10EU parking fee!. The traffic...but tht is not the fault of the hotel. Streets narrow but help readily provided. The hotel could be spruced up a bit. Nothing. Parking is a little difficult to get into but Daniel assists. Best to have a smaller car. nothing. The mattresses were incredibly uncomfortable and need replacing. Besides that, I would rate it very highly and would be more than happy to return. We visited out of season - Easter holidays and the town shut at 8.30 so there was nowhere to be in the evening after dinner. Very unlike Italian towns. The hotel needs some driving instructions as its quite a maze of streets! They were very helpful when I got lost!. room was too small for a couple. Nothing. Breakfast was out quite early, they didn't resupply the buffet with the basics..
