  We stayed for 4 nights in this B&B in their best room. It was very nice and clean, with an orthopedic bed (the mattress with a foam was not worse than my at home). Hotel manager had told he was going to replace windows with PVC double glass packs next week to make sleep even more comfortable.   Small boutique hotel with Italian Renaissance decor. Updated bathrooms, though small by American standards, had many unique features not usually seen in hotels in the usa. The owner, Roberto, is professional and takes great pride in the attention to the details of the hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Very near top attractions and local cafés. We booked two single rooms and sometimes in the past we have been allocated tiny, substandard rooms. The rooms at the Celio were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the Trevi/Tritone area. (We go to Rome each year over past 15 years and this experience was one of our most enjoyable. Grazie Roberto!!

  The best hotel we could wish for, according the best price. First of all, the staff were amazing. We booked for a double room, but when we cheked in, they gave us a suit for 5 , because it would be empty anywey. Yes, the hotel is little bit far from the city center, but hotels in Rome are very expensive regardless and at least this hotel is a good value for your money. The people running the hotel are belong nice. The property is in perfect conditions and very clean.
