  We stayed for 4 nights in this B&B in their best room. It was very nice and clean, with an orthopedic bed (the mattress with a foam was not worse than my at home). The sound proofing was excellent, both from the busy traffic, and the noise from other rooms. Stayed in three hotels during our Rome trip and this was the most luxury hotel room with such a wonderfully comfortable bed!   Small boutique hotel with Italian Renaissance decor. Updated bathrooms, though small by American standards, had many unique features not usually seen in hotels in the usa. The owner, Roberto, is professional and takes great pride in the attention to the details of the hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Very near top attractions and local cafés. We booked two single rooms and sometimes in the past we have been allocated tiny, substandard rooms. The rooms at the Celio were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the Trevi/Tritone area. (We go to Rome each year over past 15 years and this experience was one of our most enjoyable. Grazie Roberto!!

Yes, the hotel is little bit far from the city center, but hotels in Rome are very expensive regardless and at least this hotel is a good value for your money. The people running the hotel are belong nice. The property is in perfect conditions and very clean. I stayed in another hotel for the same price during this same trip and I did not like the place at all.
