  The location of this hotel was absolutely great! Just a 40-minute ride from Venezia Santa Lucia station by vaporetto and you are in the very heart of Venice. Our room faced the inner court so it was very silent, the room was large with old fashioned furniture which gave us retro feeling - it was nice. The bed was no - The place is easy to find and easy to go to everywhere. The single room is big enough for one person and is clean. They make it clean everyday. Even though it is shared bathroom I found it not very busily used so I don't have to wait for long. But you need bring your own shampoo and showering gel.

  Service, service, service! I thought this hotel was a little pricey for what we got (room-wise), but the service was outstanding.   The location is perfect. The staff, especially main guy (goatee guy), were v. helpful and friendly. They arranged our gondola ride and answered our questions fully. The bathroom was clean and seemed new except for the broken shower door (it still worked, but was coming apart).   The location was more than excellent! It was very easy to find even for those who don't know Venice. It was very near to the main square and to the "vaporetto" stations.
