  The hotel was new, fresh and clean. The location was perfect for the old port area in Genua and the hotel personnel were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a typical American continental breakfast -- in other words quite boring, but that is the only complaint we have. - Right in de middle of the centre.

  We actually stayed at their sister hotel,Hotel Savoia, next door as Hotel Continental was under renovations. This was a 4-5 star hotel priced much lower. We will definitely stay there again.   Great looking hotel, big and comfy rooms, nice breakfast, very quality furniture in the hotel - Very clean, silent, good comfort, good services. Near the highway. I was not interested in visiting Genova, so I don't know how easy is reaching the downrown.
